This Cookie Policy explains how REI Transfer, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on rei-transfer-v2.vercel.app (the "Site"). It supplements our Privacy Policy. 1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit, such as your preferences, identifiers, and how you got to the site. Similar technologies (sessionStorage, localStorage, web beacons, server-side tracking via Conversions APIs) serve comparable purposes.

- Strictly necessary: Required for the Site to function. Includes our consent record and basic visitor identification used for security and abuse prevention.
- Functional / first-party analytics: Help us understand how visitors arrive and which marketing channels drive applications, set as first-party cookies on our domain.
- Marketing / advertising: Set by Meta, Google, and similar third-party platforms to enable retargeting, attribution, and conversion measurement. Loaded only after you accept consent via our cookie banner.

We also use localStorage (a similar browser storage mechanism) to make the site easier to use across visits:

We also use sessionStorage (cleared when you close the tab) to store your session ID (reit_sid), the URL you originally landed on (reit_landing), and your referring URL (reit_referrer).

We may also enable additional advertising platforms over time (Microsoft Advertising, LinkedIn Insight, TikTok Pixel, Reddit Pixel). This policy will be updated to reflect any new third party we activate.
5. Server-Side Tracking (Conversions API)
In addition to browser cookies, we may transmit conversion events directly from our servers to Meta and Google through their respective Conversions APIs. This server-side tracking sends hashed identifiers (email, phone, click IDs) for the purpose of matching conversions to ad clicks. Server-side tracking is also gated by your consent and is described in the Privacy Policy.
6. How to Manage Your Cookie Preferences

When you first visit the Site, a cookie banner appears at the bottom asking you to Accept analytics and advertising cookies (Meta Pixel, GA4, GTM). If you leave the site without clicking Accept, no third-party advertising or analytics cookies are loaded. Your choice is stored in the reit_consent cookie for 365 days.
